HTC announced their new desire series 501, 601 & 700 dual SIM smartphone for India. These phones will be available in a few days in India. HTC might be targeting the time of new year with these sleek & dual SIM android based smartphones for the Indian consumers.
Coming to the specification if the phones then HTC Desire 501 offers a 4.3 inch WVGA display with 1GB RAM powered by a 1.15GHz ST-Ericsson U8520 dual-core processor and 2100 mAh battery. The Desire 501 will be priced around the INR 16890 & will be available in the coming days.
Now talking about the Desire 601 then it features 4.5 inch qHD display with 1GB of RAM and is powered by a quad-core Broadcom processor with a 2100 mAh battery. The Desire 601 will be priced at around INR 24K and it will also be available from December only.
Talking about the senior member of the family then HTC Desire 700 boats of a 5-inch qHD Display, 8MP primary shooter with 1GB of RAM powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum Shark processor with 2100 mAh battery. The Desire 700 will be priced at around 33K and it will be released around the time of Christmas.
Though HTC will be looking to target the mid segment customers with these devices but still these device fail to make a promising look because the don't have the latest software to run them above that none of the killing hardware in it that people will rush to buy them. So only loyal HTC users might want to try them as specifications of these phones wont please many people out there as in the price of Desire 700 people can easily buy the Nexus 5 and still save a few thousand bucks.
