Dual-USB pendrive for smartphone from sony

Everyday we tussle with the problem of handling our data between the our workstation & mobile devices we use, doesn't matter if there is Bluetooth, NFC or faster cloud services but still data transferring remains a headache though data cables seems to provide a bit of relief but when it comes to the point of transferring from phone to phone then we just have to rely on the Bluetooth that doesn't offer the speed we require, so to catch up with that problem Sony have come up with an optimal solution packaged in a USB drive that comes in a dual mode so that you can connect it to your mobile, tablet or even with your traditional desktop.

These dual USB pendrives have a full size USB and a microUSB connectors. By using MicroUSB connector, you can connect it with smartphone and tablets. Use full size USB connector to connect it with laptop or desktop. You can also connect the device in smartphone and laptop at the same time. In this way, you can easily transfer data from smartphone to desktop or desktop to smartphone. Transfers can go both ways.

Sony has also released a file manager app that is compatible with this new pen drive and that app can be downloaded free of cost from Google play store. App can be used to search for pictures, music or other files.

The new device will support Android 4.0 or higher versions there is still no support for iOS or Windows phone devices though the pen drive will work fine with window & Mac based laptops.

Price of the 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage size pendrives are $19.99, $29.99 and $62.99, respectively. There is still no announcement about the release of these pen drives in India but Sony did mentioned that these pen drives will be available globally by January 2014, so we can expect that it will be available in India by that time only.
