During this festive season the domestic handset maker Karbonn is launching four smart phones A16, A99, A35, A90 which are 2G and 3G enabled and are quite in the range of the ordinary people that is Rs 5,500-7,500. The company during the launch said in a statement that “With money-savings being the in-word now, this festive range from Karbonn is aimed to bring in a completely novel vista of gifting for your loved ones,” .
It also mentioned thatit is looking to increase its market share with the mass market smartphone range
It is having a WVGA display of 4 inch which is having a resolution of 480*800 pixels and comes with a 1.3GHz dual core processor.RAM of 512MB with an inbuilt storage of 4GB which could be expanded upto 32GB with the help of a micro SD card. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is a dual-SIM device. It has a rear camera of 5 megapixel and is priced 6,490.This is a 3G enabled phone.
This phone too has a 4-inch screen with a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor. It runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and has a 5MP rear camera. The phone is priced Rs Rs 6,590.
This phone costs Rs 5490 and has a 4-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen. It has 1 GHz dual-core processor, 5 MP camera with flash and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This is also a dual-SIM device.
This is the most expensive phone in the range and is priced at Rs 7490, and has a 5-inch qHD screen with a 1GHz dual-core processor. The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This also comes with a 5 MP camera with flash and a 2MP front camera. This is a dual-SIM phone with 512MB RAM and 4GB memory space.
