The Lumia 1020 uses a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA (1280x768) display with Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and 2GB of RAM. Like everything else from the Lumia range, the Lumia 1020 uses Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 operating system. It uses a 2000 mAh battery. The phone offers 32GB of storage on board. Nokia is also offering 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage. The only thing that sound disappointing on this mammoth device is the 2000mAh battery that may just last only a few hours on this beast.
The USP of the phone is its 41-megapixel PureView camera sensor which offers Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), backside-illuminated image sensor, 6 lens optics along with a Xenon Flash. Nokia has also added some camera software including the Nokia Pro Camera app and Smart Camera Mode. It also offers a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage which is non-expandable.
Though the high end Lumia Devices are still searching for the horizon in a number of markets but this one can prove to be a serious contender as we mentioned earlier it has 41MP shooter Plus the advantage of hassle free Windows Fluid UI.
Hope this turn out to be a game changer for MSFT as it sparked new era of Higher camera shooters on phone that will surely set the standards for other manufacturers. Do share your opinions about the Device via the comments.
