MTV Slate with quad-core processor, Android 4.2 launched for Rs. 14999

Swipe Telecom and MTV India has launched a new Android tablet in Indian market. This new tablet is called MTV Slate. It has been priced at Rs. 14,999.

MTV Slate is a powerful tablet with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It features a 7.85 inch display with 1024×768 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It features a 5 megapixel camera and a front camera for video calling. It comes with 1 GB RAM. Internal storage of the tablet is 8 GB that is expandable via microSD card. It also has a SIM card slot for voice calling. It is packed with 3200 mAh battery. Connectivity features are 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.

So it might sound just another android based tablet in India but even we know the fact that it's the just another type of tablets that are outselling the brands like Sony & Apple here, above that it got the backing of the MTV so maybe that can turn tables for this android based tablet.
