Nokia unveils Lumia 510 windows phone at 11K

Nokia has officially taken the wraps off its latest budget smartphone, the Lumia 510 putting it somewhere between the Asha range and the Lumia 610. With the notable exception of the 4-inch (480 x 800) screen, which is a tad larger than its slightly more accomplished Windows Phone sibling, the other specs are very much in line with its low-cost stance: there's a single 5-megapixel shooter at the back (no front-facer), a lowly 800MHz Qualcomm processor, 256MB RAM and 4GB of non-expandable storage. Airtel launches 4G services in Pune

Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of its 4G services in Pune, months after the company rolled out the fourth generation mobile services in Kolkata and Bengaluru. Airtel's 4G services are currently available for postpaid users in Pune; for prepaid customers the services will be launched shortly.

Airtel customers in Pune can now use Airtel 4G LTE modems to start using the LTE network. The dongle for accessing 4G network on laptops and PCs is priced at Rs. 4,999 and comes with monthly usage charges.

US FTC shuts down scam Tech Support websites

US officials said that they shut down a series of so-called tech support scams, mostly operating from India, which duped consumers into paying to clean their computers of bogus virus infections. The Federal Trade Commission said a US judge has ordered a halt to six "scareware" operations and has frozen their assets following an investigation in cooperation with Canada, Britain, Australia and New Zealand.
