TRAI orders telecom operators to increase post fair usage internet speeds to atleast 256kbps

TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) today issued a directive to all telecom operators to increase post FUP speeds to 256 kbps. This FUP (fair usage policy) has come as an epidemic in the Indian broadband space with almost all broadband service providers, be it 3G, EVDO, or wireline joining the fair usage bandwagon with post FUP speeds falling as low as 32kbps!.
